The Qiansheng Gubei Garden is staffed by a fantastic staff who screen visitors and direct them to the correct building and parking area. The design of the buildings and the surrounding greenery is a delightful blend of well-maintained, modern apartment buildings and details reminiscent of a bygone era. Seals are perched above each entrance, and some buildings are framed by wide columns. The central park area is overgrown, in a purposefully way. And there are also seahorse statutes, twisting trees, and a maze wrapped around a white gazebo. The effect is charming and, as a result, its seven high rise buildings have a high occupancy rate and a diverse group of residents.

Neighborhood
The Qiansheng Gubei Garden residence is less than 10 minutes’ walk from the Line 10 Yili Road metro station. Gubei itself is an affluent neighborhood within the Shanghai Changning District. Home to a large community of expatriates, the area has a full range of expat-oriented services and shops, including specialty Korean grocery stores, Carrefour (Gubei location), the Gubei Pedestrian Promenade, etc.

One of the area’s biggest draws is the number of international schools in the vicinity, including YCIS and Britannica. The Shanghai United Family Hospital (Xianxia Rd location) is only 15 minutes away by car. The Hongqiao Airport is within convenient reach and only takes about 25-30 minutes by car or metro. Jing’an Temple, the Bund, and Lujiazui all take about 30 to 40 minutes.
